The Diplomatic Staff       Minister Famatta Rose Osode is Deputy Permanent Representative of the Permanent Mission of Liberia to the United Nations and serves as Administrator of the Mission.   During her long tenure at this Mission, Minister Osode has served in numerous capacities including Charge D’Affairs; Representative of Liberia on the United Nations Council for Namibia servings as Vice-Chairman of the Council’s Standing Committee II (Political, Economic, Legal) for seven years.    She represented the Council at numerous conferences, workshops, seminars and missions of consultations in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.  She has been Liberia’s Representative on the Fourth Committee (Decolonization), the Fifth Committee (Administrative and Budgetary) and is currently Liberia’s Representative on the First Committee (Disarmament and International Security).  Minister Osode is integrally involved in the day-to-day operations of the Mission.    She can be reached at 212.687.1033  Email:  fosode@liberia-un.org         Minister Counselor Edwin F.
